Was Surprised not to see Gus at Brainerd today.I think he's one of a few local sportman racers to race at all the previous Brainerd Nationals. Low car counts too, did they change how many cars can enter a class.Brainerd used to be a hot bed for stockers,only 64 today.

I would love to see Gus's modified corvette stick shift,awesome car!!! 5-speed, small block chevy, 10,000 rpm ,one of the greatest cars I have witnessed ,probably the reason my car is a stick!!

Gus was pitted next to Rick Johnson and broke the motor coming back from tech.
