Back spacing
A little while back I asked about putting a 10" rim on a 1969 camaro 4 speed running G/S. I was wanting to know if anyone knows the correct back-spacing that i need. I saw here on class racer.com a picture of a 1969 camaro running G/S that had a 10" rim. Or if anybody that has this car an same rim size any info wood be greatly appericated. I figured that some body up here has got to know.

Re: Back spacing
Thanks Mickey for the info. I guess now the only thing is to do it to order some rims. Im hopeing that more tire will be on the ground to help lower 60 foot time. It just seems to waud the tire an spin more than it should. I mean a stick car is gone spin a little right. I guess im thinking right. O an dont worry bout the missed spelled words.

Re: Back spacing
You may be very limited in rim manufactures that offer a 5 1/4" back space on a 10" rim.
Just a heads up. |
Re: Back spacing
Where are you? I have some 5" BS Marsh light steel wheels (about 19 lb each) you could try or buy, 4.75" bolt circle. Note also that the 10" wheel will let the tire grow about .4" in width at the sidewalls vs. an 8" wheel.
