Big Buck oil changes...how often ????
 

You fellows with the big buck oil changes ( for example Joe Gibbs ).....how often do you change the oil or what system do you have to make it as economical as possible ( kind of funny---economical racing hahaha ) ???

in the past i have used Amzoil Racing 10/30 in my stocker. it was still pure red upon dumping it at 23 runs. This year running EP3 J Gibbs, his guys say don't dump it at all, just change the filter every 20 runs or so. i have been doing it at 20 each time and the oil has been black from the first 20. i will be pulling the engine after our mid oct race and inspecting the bearings, i will compare against the wear from the amzoil usage last year and post. i am also looking forward to other reviews.
