Staging in Stock Elim

While watching some of the incar videos of the automtaic stock elim. cars, I noticed they seem to be pumping the brakes and bumping it into the stage beam. I know you can't use transbrakes so that only leaves a linelock and 2-step. So you have 2 switches one for just the line lock and another for linelock & 2-step. Determine what RPM that will alow you to go full throttle without the car moving or are they using pressure gauges to get consistant pressure (pumping brakes)

One line lock only, on non drive axle . One wire switch/ wire only to rev limiter (foot operated) Forget about the line lock for leaving.
Two step and brake pedal.

So what is the button/switch that sits on the steering wheel or dash board that we've seen some folks release when they leave the line?

stock use to be able to use a button for the 2 step until a few bitched enough to get only on the pedal which is stupid, but alot of guys go through their old routine and let off the button but it is not hooked up

Thanks, Mickey!

I figured it might make things easier for those of us who compete in both Stock and Super Stock!
