NSCA Stock/Super Stock Race at Cecil County June 23 and 24
Don't forget, next weekend, June 23rd and 24th is the third race of the NSCA season featuring the Jegs Stock/Super Stock combo race. We expect a good turnout of D1 cars and we will have a Sunday am qualifier for those returning from E-town. Gates will open on Friday at 9:00am for parking and tech. The track runs a Friday evening test and tune. Gates open at 8:00am on Saturday with three qualifying shots. Gates will again open at 8:00 on Sunday with a late morning qualifier. Eliminations begin at noon.

Will there be a VP fuel truck there?
Mike Meier EF/S Sunbird |
No VP truck there but VP is just down the road in Newark DE. Hillside oil is located right next to them and is a VP dealer. Jim MacKenzie races with the NSCA and works at Hillside Oil. I'm sure he could help you out. 302-738-4144.
Super Stockers racing at E-Town, don't forget, we have a Sunday morning Qualifying hit around 11:30. If your out early your welcome to come to Cecil and race with us. Tony DePillo |
Thanks for the info. Unfortunately my car is out of commission as of this past weekend. I hope you guys get a good enough car count to justify doing this for us.

Mike take it back to the Nee's Use Stock Eliminator car lot and grab another one. Hope we do get a better count then what happened at atco's NSCA event.

It should be a good Stock field, because, there is no Stock at E-town. See you at Cecil County.

John, i hope your right, and maybe we'll get some SSers that took a early exit from E-town.

Joe,
Whole problem is Billy's cars are either spoken for or broken. I guess I'll spill the beans right now and say that I am looking for a new ride for NHRA races whether it be driving for someone else, buying a car outright, or going in as partners with someone on a traditional stocker. Once we figure out the bugs in the Sunbird we're gonna put back in the 150 lbs that we took out and it's going to be a HF/SA in the IHRA. I still like the car, but my feeling is that this car is being hurt by the hot weather, so it won't be back in the NHRA unless I can't find something for the Keystones and the Cecil County LODRS. Mr. Dipillo, can we park on Friday evening?

So no problem with showing up sunday morning and making one shot?
What about an IHRA Pure Stock car?? Lee Norton Slowtime Motorsports I/PS '02 Firebird 231 V6 |
