Points from Noble race?
 

Is it possible that people who didn't return for the race on Thursday don't get points for rounds they won prior to the postponement ? Or do they get their points added later than those who did attend that Thursday?

i would think the pts total would be updated after the race is completed especially since they had so many rds left. anyone who didnt go back would be the same as if they broke and couldnt run the next rd.

You would think that Gary but spotted some racers who don't have points credited. Guess I'll let them contact NHRA to resolve it...

Larry is going to contact NHRA. We were into the 3rd round and should have 51 points. It is showing that we got 10 points.

Good deal Patsy...know they will fix it; I noticed Larry and others didn't get their points due, but as usual; you guys are on top of it!

Enjoy the Grand Canyon and safe travels on to Vegas. (make sure you get a view of the new bridge above Hoover Dam, unbelievable).

I think it will be 10 points. Same thing happen at the Phoenix point race in Feb. The four from Phoenix did not get even 10 point. My rule they should have received 10 points

If any portion of an event is completely rescheduled for any reason,
qualified NHRA Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series contestants unable to
return will be granted an automatic withdrawal — earning no points —
and the event will not be charged to their event quota. If a contestant
does not wish to be withdrawn from the postponed event and desires
to receive points earned up until the point of cancellation, contestant
must contact the event division director or NHRA Competition
Department. If eliminations were in progress at the time of
postponement, a winning contestant in a non-Professional category
unable to return will receive round money (and points if requested) as
if the contestant had lost in the first round contested at the resumed
event (regardless of actual round number). A winning contestant in a
Professional category unable to return will receive round money (and
points) as if the contestant had lost in the prior round.

I left a message with the NHRA competition dept. this afternoon, but haven't gotten a call back yet.

I see Larry's points are fixed but others not so individuals affected need to contact NHRA.

We never did get a call back from NHRA, but contacted Craig Hutchinson, Div. 4 Director, and he got it fixed.
