Ya know Bernie, you are right. He doesn't need the calls. I'm sure the staff is very involved in scheduling the reunion races and street legals for 2012, the only races that make a profit.

The greed of Glendora has forced another track to cater to Hondas and open wheel drag cars with antique M&H slicks.

Another reason I'm not heartbroken about now both my membership and comp number expiring...let's see, Tucson switched to IHRA so they're gone, and they lost (at least for now) Fontana, and now Bakersfield. Who's next???

Actually Charlie we have been to several non NHRA races at Bakersfield and I can say that they are really not that bad !! We run at these races by choice because they treat us very well and also Bakersfield does a exellent job on the track... Even better than a Divisional race there you know why ? They dont maintain the strarting line during a Division race thats up too NHRA. The Nastalgic events have a basic bracket class thats called Hot Rod and they get no less than 30 cars and actually have some good racers that have some real nice cars that dont run Open wheel or M&H slicks lol... they hold at least 7 events a year just at Bakersfield alone. If interested look up ANRA they have a website http://www.anra.com/
