I just got a call from Randy and it with great sadness that I pass on to you that his father Mel has passed on to be with the Lord this past Monday morning...........

A funeral service will be conducted Friday, Dec. 16 at 1 p.m. at Bond-Mitchell Funeral Home. Burial will follow in East Hill Cemetery. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home Thursday, Dec. 15 from 4-8 p.m. and on Friday from noon until the time of service. |

Mr. Warford was a very nice man. I was fortunate to chat with him in the SS/AH pits a few times. I still remember chatting with him in the lanes at Pinks All Out back in '09.

My condolences to the Warford family. I was lucky enough to meet Mel through my father, Mel was a wonderful person whose kindness and intellect were unmatched. He will be missed greatly. R.I.P. Mel.
