You might want to try a northern tool or harbor freight. I think I got all 4 for around 100 bucks. Hope this helps

Re: Auto Dollies
I bought a set of the $100 (for 4) ones, make sure you lube the wheels BEFORE trying to use them, it won't move if you assemble them dry and attempt to use them. Please don't ask how I know this. Other than that they beat the heck out of a floor jack, but be prepared to do some grunting, as they are NOT like the $1,000 ones.

Re: Auto Dollies
Some say "no-marring" wheels, is that a lie? I have a very nice new floor in the shop, don't want to ruin it.
Thanks for the thread, I was thinking the same thing. |
Re: Auto Dollies
I have the cheap Harbor Freight ones and they have worked great - knock on wood. Sign up for deals online with them and the coupons roll in. I picked mine up for $30 per pair for 1000lb rated dollies. Again, they work great for me rolling the Chevy II around the garage. There are some things I won't buy from Harbor Freight and other things I will buy because at the end of my task, I just throw it away.
Also, sign up online for Northern Tool deals. They send coupons and deals to your email address. Have found them to be reasonable too. FWIW |
Re: Auto Dollies
I have a set of the harbor freight dollies and the car weights about 3400 lbs
in the garage they work just fine, I would not want to try using them on asphalt though, just concrete. |
Re: Auto Dollies
I have a set of the Jegs aluminum dollies. For the most part they are great. A front tire went down and the dolley kicked out from under the car ,the car rolled into the garage door strut and dented the right front fender on my 65 Belvedere1. Anybody want to buy some aluminum car Dollies??

USA made. I think Summit and/or Jegs has them. I got a set off JC Whitney, of all places. Like $ 98 shipped at that time seem to work good, 3 yrs now, 3600 lb car. http://www.jcwhitney.com/auto-dolly-...rid=c21309u0j1 |
