Jerry Pope
Former NHRA and IHRA super stock and stock racer Jerry Pope passed away this morning in his hometown of Charleston, SC. Jerry was a very tough racer that raced in the 60's through the 80's. He stopped racing to form his business, Jerry Pope and Associates and had planned to start racing again but illness of over 10 years ended his dream of racing again. Jerry was my racing partner and my cherished friend and will never be forgotten. His mother and brother are taking care of the arrangements and I will post them tomorrow evening.

Re: Jerry Pope
Just heard that Jerry passed away. That's real sad because he was a great competitor that I enjoyed racing against at Blaney and Cooper River many years ago.
