rear ends chevy
went to put my rebuilt rear end back under the future stocker, lost my u-bolts and a guy who does leafs sold me new ones, gave me 4 u-bolts, do i need to throw the little bolts that were on the bottom side to hold the bracket for shocks away? thanks y`all,

on the rearend on the inside where the axle tubes lay on the springs, where the shock mount comes up underneath the axle, there were twobolts about 1 1/2 long factory bolts that helped secure the plate where the rear shocks mount and your u-bolts mount on other side of springs, hoppe this helpsi`ll try to get my computer guru to add pics if needed, thanks y`all

Sounds like you are describing the T type bolts some used in place of the u-bolts. You can use either. What are going with for traction aid? I would lean towards what that system uses for hardware.

Get rid of the T bolts and use the U-bolts.
