cast iron head repair
Who can, or if it can be fixed. I have a pair of phase 2 bowties done by Ron Haskell, (who is retired) that have epoxy broke loose in them. I have over $7,000 in them and have only ran tham 2 weekends years ago. They flow 300 and 244, not the best for SS\CS, but I hate to throw them away. They have some real nice epoxy work in the intake port area, and don't want to have someone remove whats done, just fix for good without destroying what's there. Don't want to spend another fortune on them, would like to save them, but would be willing to toss them in the river if it's a lost cause. What say you guys.

Re: cast iron head repair
I'm in Mo. Also, I can get someone to weld it, I just can't get someone to keep original work undamaged. Thanks also, I read that post, but not quite what I'm after. Thanks anyway, will probably just cut my losses and ditch them.

Re: cast iron head repair
With $7K in the heads, I would think it's worth to call to Larry Woodward, he was welding an doing epoxy work in cast iron heads before just about anyone.
