weldon fuel pump info or experience
 

need info on a weldon fuel pump i have a bg 400 now it pumps 350gph the one weldon sent to me is only rated at 150-180gph. everyone i know that has this in their car has a dragster has anyone ever use this in a door car with the tank in the trunk. did anyone ever volume check it after the regulator ? how many sec to pump a gallon after the regulator

How much HP is your engine making? at 150 gph thats 900 lbs per hour
at 180 gph thats 1080 lbs per hour
using 6.00 lbs per gal

You should call Jim Craig at Weldon, or write to him here on this forum. He works at Weldon and knows more about there products than anyone. I run one in my Super Gas car with cell in the back feeding 1050HP it works great, I have been thru 2/3 BG 400 and would always have a big fuel presure drop. None with Weldon. It works very well for me and I can not say enough good about Jim/Weldon.
