Vegas National
I can't get there until Friday morning, crazy thing called work..... Has anyone seen a schedule when gates open, when tech is open, and first round of Qualifying? I would like to make first round of Qualifying but probably won't...... When is class? Looking forward to the O/SA shootout !!!
Thanks, Rick |

Re: Vegas National
Here's the run schedule from 2010 when they last had class there. I expect it will be pretty much the same. They should have a detailed run schedule for this year out soon.

Re: Vegas National
Looks like if you can't get there early you may not even run Friday....but you know the old "subject to change" deal....
This was just posted. http://www.nhra.net/2012/images/NHRA...hedule-LN1.pdf |
Re: Vegas National
I will be there at 5 am, hopefully I can be in, parked, and teched before the second qualifier. It would give me one hit before class.
Thanks, Rick |
Re: Vegas National
NHRA site says two Qualifying runs Friday Morning: 8 and about 10:30.
Without anything to gain for class... I doubt many people will spend the time And money to hop up their cars for class anymore. For me and my kids, It will just be another time trial! There has to be a Benefit to go along with the Risk of hurting the engine or the horsepower rating. It is getting more expensive to race every year and the return is going the other way. My kids don't like it / They would both love a Shootout! .......But I pay the bills! |
Re: Vegas National
I understand how you feel.
I might be new to stock, but I'm from the old school way of thinking. Work hard on your car and make it as fast as you can. I take pride in working on it, making it as fast as I can. Running class still means alot to me, just like it did the first time I ran class in Vegas a couple of years ago. My car isn't very pretty right now, but I'm working on that part this summer, new paint, interior etc. |
Re: Vegas National
Rick and Jon Jr. do meet in Finals for Class..........Rick car appears to have a problem and unfortunately rolls thru lights. I am sure there will be lots of return matches. I believe it would have great race as our weather station was 4000 plus letting the cars hang it out pretty good!
