Holly Springs SS/S Combo - Recap and Results
 

First of all, I want to give a huge thank you to all of the racers and teams who drove into Holly Springs yesterday and converged on the concrete to battle it out for the title, "Holly Springs Combo Champion," for the first time in years!

For the first combo, on Easter weekend, we were able to feature a full 16 car field for the fans who came out to watch the old school, heavy metal action!

Amy Faulk from Collierville, TN took her Pontiac Trans Am straight to the top of the qualifying ladder and stayed there throughout the two qualifying sessions in the afternoon.

Now for the round-by-round results:

Rd. 1
- Mitch Autry (6.212 off of 6.20 dial-in) defeated Ed Becker's (6.937 off of the 6.92 dial-in).
- Neal Broyles (6.928 off of 6.94 dial-in) defeated a red-lighting John Garner (7.663 off of 7.62 dial-in).
- Jim Netherland (6.617 off of 6.53 dial-in) defeated Rick Campbell (7.367 off of a 7.43 dial-in).
- Larry Langston (6.703 off of a 6.68 dial-in) defeated Tony Miles' (6.627 off of 6.59 dial-in).
- Jack Presgrove (8.315 off of a 8.25 dial-in) takes a holeshot win over Randy Eakins' (6.629 off of a 6.62 dial-in).
- Jerry Miles (6.738 off of a 6.70 dial-in) defeated Gabriel Ray (6.689 off of a 6.68 dial-in).
- Matt Hoover (7.513 off of a 6.46 dial-in) defeated a red-lighting Don Cossey's (7.476 off of a 7.49 dial-in).
- Amy Faulk (6.684 off of a 6.66 dial-in) defeated a breaking out Gerald Nivans (10.248 off of a 10.27 dial-in).

Rd. 2
- Amy Faulk continues on (6.704 off of a 6.66 dial-in) defeating a breaking out Matt Hoover (6.448 off of a 6.46 dial-in).
- Jerry Miles (6.777 off of a 6.71 dial-in) takes the win over a breaking out Jack Presgrove (8.237 off of a 8.25 dial-in).
- Jim Netherland takes a holeshot win (6.555 off of a 6.53 dial-in) over Neal Broyles' (6.958 off of a 6.94 dial-in).
- Mitch Autry (6.207 off of a 6.20 dial-in) takes the win over a red-lighting Larry Langston (6.624 off of a 6.68 dial-in).

Semi-Finals
- Jim Netherland (6.539 off of a 6.52 dial-in) takes the win over a red-lighting Jerry Miles (6.740 off of a 6.70 dial-in).
- Amy Faulk (6.722 off of a 6.66 dial-in) defeated Mitch Autry (6.218 off of a 6.21 dial-in).

Finals
- Amy Faulk (6.677 off of a 6.66 dial-in) defeated Jim Netherland's (6.583 off of a 6.53 dial-in).
