Two Step?
On the brake pedal? What works best. Brake light switch of some sort or a button mounted to brake pedal. I tried the brake light switch (factory) and it seemed really slow. I give it 15 or 20 hits then swapped to a trans brake button which seemed maybe .030 quicker. I seem to be consistant but I need anothe .020 to be in the game

Re: Two Step?
If NHRA Stock, it must be mounted on the brake pedal.

Re: Two Step?
I like the brake pressure switch. Tried light switch, but like the brake pressure better. Some use a gauge, others dont.
Put a simple toggle switch inline for on/off, so no issues in water box, etc. Also, some use a micro switch on the shifter so it only works in low gear. Others use a RPM window switch to do the same thing... dont want it on the top end! good luck Ken |
Re: Two Step?
I have a b&m mushroom mounted to the pedal for today at tristate. I didnt care for the light switch. I will call the folks and check out the pressure switch. I did score a final in the bracket race last week so I feel I am going in the right direction.
I have the micro switch on the shifter so that the two step only works in low gear. I got 28 in fronts gonna take them off and put 24 on today and see how close I get. |
Re: Two Step?
Definitely brake pressure switch. Many guys experience consistency issues with the standard "button on the pedal" deal. Folk will hook you up.

Re: Two Step?
I put the B &M button on and went to rnd 5. My worst was a .018 and unfortunately I was perfect when I lost. I thought that wasnt to bad. Seemed like I had to stay after it tho.
