Stock Eliminator already at quota for E-town
 

With 5 weeks to go before the entry deadline; Stock is already at quota (64) for Englishtown. The alcohol classes are not running this year at E-town, so you would think that the quota would be higher. The Super Stock quota is 90 because they have class eliminations. It seems to me that the Stock quota should at least be 80. Hopefully the NHRA will raise it.

They're trying to break up with us but they're letting us down easy, wont be long now. I hope I make it back in time to enjoy a few more years. It's quite sad but I guess all good things come to an end.

Bill, I'm hoping they raise the quota too....

I only have 3 grade points.
I live 30 minutes away....
so it's very close to home for a National Event.

You will still need 4 points to get in if they raise the quota.

Only until the quota opens up for three. There was a rule change I believe. If it closes at 4, than add more spots, if 3 can get in than its open for them too! Might be confusing. So really if they add spots a person with one grade point could potentially get in if it was full at 3 (or any number)

I used to race up there and that race always had 128 Stock Eliminator car field. I guess with all the big rigs that people have now, it uses up pit space and takes away entries. That used to be the best race to go to, even when it was 130 degrees in the pits.

Stock_B103, I pushed NHRA so much about the grade points and not allowing someone with less grade points to enter a race if there where openings, that they changed their policy about it. Their policy was school yard mentality until they changed it, now it is correct. If there is a withdrawl, they allow other racers to enter with less grade points at the given grade point window. They changed it after it was too late for me to enter the Gators.
