Car counts
Here is a shining example of the rampent stupidity displayed by the bumbling fools in Glendora. They tout the fact that, and oddly contradictory to their present policy of limiting sportsman car counts, the car counts this year are up 5% this year over 2011 even in a depressed economy. These brain surgeons should run for political office after they've run the organization into the ground.

Re: Car counts
Do you know why the car counts are so low at Commerce Ga next week?
The only divisional conflict is in Kansas and Idaho Stock = 23 Super stock = 27 Other counts seem very low as well Cutoff tomorrow at noon Ron |

Re: Car counts
At Atlanta, there seems to be a problem with unwelcomed visitors in motor homes and trailers which doesn't help the car counts there.

Re: Car counts
They increased the quota for TD, if we don't take the spots they are fine with increasing quotas for other classes, win-win for NHRA, they get the cash flow and have entries that require less staff...

If you ask me, there has been a direct correlation between wether or not class has been ran at the events this year and the car counts. Full fields less a few at almost all the races with class for STK/SS this year. I guess people still like getting extra hits and running out their cars for the little Wally, money or no money for the W. If GA had class my guess would be a full field for the SS class. |
