Was lucky enough to meet Mr. Shelby in 1976 and again in 1990. I had him sign the dash of my Shelby Daytona.We are losing way too many great racers these days. God's speed Carroll Shelby. Jim

RIP Carroll Shelby
Met him and the ford team at Pomona Raceway in 1963. Got to race against one of the first cobras on the drag strip driven by Gas Rhonda and me in my '63 corvette. I never could beat that light weight cobra.

Met Carroll in vegas the day of his grand opening where he built the CSX 4000 and later his famous cobras-and now Shelby Mustangs-What a guy-humble and very interested in who he was talking to--saw him in vegas at different functions thru out the years--along with alot of his head crew from his shop--Alot of Legends have left but this Legend goes to the front of the line! RIP CS-
