anyone coming to enjoy our 105degree heat this weekend...nice summer tune up for division 3 ... about 3500 ft corrected, 85% humidity.

BUT $ 5000 combo saturday night thanks nitroplate !!!!!!!!!!!

I had thought about going and watching.
5K is pretty good.

I don't race the combo races there (yet), but I would like to thank Nitro Plate for putting up the money.

We will be there! Bringing the family with us! Don't forget about Beech Bend Park and Splash Lagoon for all the kids! That pool just may be calling me instead of watching time trials! But at least if you do want to watch, you can do so in the comfort of covered grandstands!

I planned on bringing the family, until last week when I told Ellen and she informed me we had a wedding to go to. Damn it!!!!

I will be there with the Pinto for the combo and National Open (unless something changes between now and tomorrow night). Maybe even race the pickup truck in Pro and Sportsman just for fun, since it is going to be such a cool weekend...

C'mon now Jack, I'm seeing only mid-90's.......

It's going to be a great weekend. We had 98 cars in last year's inaugural $5K combo. It couldn't have run any smoother thanks to the Beech Bend crew and NHRA's finest.

If you haven't been to Beech Bend it is undoubtedly one of the finest facilities in the country. Great racetrack, great people and like Larry pointed out, the water park and amusement park are really nice.
