Re: big block mopar heads
What pistons do you have? If you don't have them yet, check Diamond pistons. Their piston is advertized: "Designed to fit most OEM open and closed chamber heads". I think Ross and others will tell you what chambers they are designed to fit.

they are JE pistons is all i know we was running 915s |
Re: big block mopar heads
I ran the Edel. RPM with Domed pistons and the Stage 6 Mopar for many years before that with domed. I used 2295 TRW Domed for twenty yearsor so (Still do in our Bracket Stuff). I Believe the B1 and Indy may take a
dedicated design dome and special valve pockets. The JE Sportman series should accommodate either of those Entry level Aluminum Heads.......Check with JE (I think they are still in Huntington Beach, Ca.). |

They don't specify which dome(s) fit these pistons. I don't see a dome for the SRP pistons for a 440. http://www.jepistons.com/Catalogs/SR...-440_flat.aspx It looks like you need to call them. I'd figure they would design it for a 906 type head, but that is a guess. |
Re: big block mopar heads
Call 440 source and see what they have. Their pricing is good.
