IHRA Sportsman Spectacular @ MIR Who's coming?
 

Hello All.
Well the Sportsman Spectacular at MIR is a week a way.
I do know of several racers coming outta NC & SC for this race,
Plus the normal MD & VA racers.
It looks like its gonna be a GREAT race.

I'm hoping to see some of the NHRA racers come and support this race.
Its a GREAT payout for only $200 entry, and what other race has a payout like
that on that weekend?

I'm Sure Royce & Jason and the whole crew will have the track prepped,
just like a National Event.

I also hope MOTHER NATURE is a little nicer to us weather wize as its
been blistering here for the last several days.

So the big question is WHO is coming ?

Been having Motor issues the past few races but, going to test this Sunday at Atco. If everything is good then Dad should be there next weekend at MIR. As I said before I have to fly to Florida for work early Sunday Morning so I won't be able to make it down. I know a few NHRA guys are coming down to try there hand at running....I think Micky Varner, Donhausers, Derek Clark will be attending if I heard correctly...

Right now the long range forecast looks less than promising with accuweather saying as much as 90% rain both Saturday and Sunday. Weather channel says 30 to 40%, that I will take a chance on for this time of year but 90% the odds are not very good.

I'm sure it wont stop me Chip, been looking foward to some 1/4 mile racing all year. I'll be there with bells on.
