Will it help particiapation - now we could be 60 under

In my opinion, it should have been adjusted to somewhere between 10.00 and 10.30.

I think it would boost up the participants list a little bit. IMO not for the right reasons but for the dumb Cat and Mouse game some racers want/like to play.

There is also some new guys with stock rides that can't run that deep under the number to be a front runner and a softer index would entice them to come. Which would be a good thing. There will still be guys that rise to the top. Participation will go up but the top guys that like the cat and mouse game will run just fast enough to nudge the other guy out. As for the fans I say keep the index low. For the guys who sandbag soften it. For the guys just starting or don't take it serious soften it.
