Fuel lines

Looking to replumb fuel lines on my 69 camaro after doing them about 6-7 years ago with steel braided rubber line only to find out that the 10% ethonal is breaking down the rubber. Starting to get the slight smell of gasoline in the garage with no signs of a leak. I have read that PTFE conductive hose is the way to go . Would just like to find out am I up to date or is there something newer and is there anything new in coverings besides steel braid. Thanks in advance, John

After reading that and finding out that the hose diameter can vary from vendor to vendor which means all the fittings may not be reusable , I believe I might go the steel line route and just use soft line as final connections for vibration control. Now I must go under my car and sniff a fuel line LOL. I will make sure nobody is watching !
