Wade Owens Article in Engine Masters Magazine
 

Coming back from Indy we spotted a neat article in the Fall 2012 issue of Popular Hot Rodding's Engine Masters magazine. It takes a look inside that FAST 283 inside of Wade Owens' car. I tried to find it online but it doesn't look like it's out there yet. Pretty cool stuff, I thought!

Wade has a very nice hot rod. I got to see it up close for the first time at BG. It is stupid fast. That BES power plant is a good one. I never got to bug him with any questions but that chevelle may be my Favorite. The frame rails have a slicker paint job than my whole car does..very nice..I think I am drooling :cool:

Tony@BES is very proud of that little 283, but he is very secretive of other peoples combos! He wont say a word except it is very cool.

I bought that issue in Rockford,Il on sat@3:30, I may have to get another!!!!!, mine is nearly worn out!!!!!

Wade--in the one external picture of the engine, what are the hoses going from the valve cover to the fuel pump block-off plate? Are they to equalize pressure?
