A/Stick and A/SA Challenge-INDY 2012!
 

First of all, thanks to all participants, supporters and fans!

Once again, some great racing and a double up on repeat winners!

Caleb McFarland defeated Kevin Helms

David Barton defeated Jeg Coughlin in A/SA

There continues to be a lot of interest in this format that supports racers at the Indy Race!

We had a 5th year for our A/Stick Challenge and the second for the A/SA. It would not be possible without all of you.

I even had a nice article about Caleb and the Challenge Races on the Sportsman Report on Competition Plus.

Nitro Joe had a great idea about the A/SA race needing a Trophy also, so he took ownership of commissioning one for next year.

We had to move the awards presentation up a day with the anticipation of the weather from Isaac and the schedule change.

Jeff Teuton had his hospitality crew in position to ensure that all was well taken care of.

The Varsity Ford Gang came over and ordered about 30 pizzas to go with Jeff's Beer Stash as well!

I can't thank you enough for the amount of effort you put into this deal. It really made it worth the trip for the Carp/Barton Team. This is proof that hard work and a little bit of luck pays off.

I also have to thank the #1 guy in charge, Al Carpiniello, who unfortunately couldn't make the trip, and my father, Ray Barton. If it wasn't for these 2 guys I wouldn't have a car to turn wrenches on. And I can't forget Mike Roth from MR2 Race Cars, Santhuff Shocks, and AEM for making it so easy to make my adjustments from round to round.

And a big THANK YOU for everyone that pitched into the pot, it is greatly appreciated from all of us at Ray Barton Racing.
