London Pro-Am
Who's coming to the last race? Hope to see a large turnout to support them, with all the improvements they've made it should be a great race.

Re: London Pro-Am
I'll be there and I know Randall Campbell,Kevin"Bubba"Elliott,Phil Combs are coming to run stock.
They extended shutdown which was already long enough for 1/8 they have 3.90 door cars that don't have a problem the way it was stopping. they added blacktop on spectator side I think you will be able to park on both sides now if not in near future. Some reason there was a bunch of false rumors floating around on internet last year that were no where near true.somewere that if you could'nt stop you run off in snake infested hollar(that's KY for big hole usaully wooded) There is NOTHING wrong with this race track you can see picture on IHRA web site or London Dragway web site it is nice and you will be treated well by Craig and his staff. Morris and Clark's planning on being there? 130 mi from Bowling Green on 80 Cumberland parkway or from Lexington south on I75 about 70 mi. Mike Taylor 3601 |
Re: London Pro-Am
Both side of track are black topped, stanging lanes on both sides, they have black topped a quite of bit on the pit side, parking on both sides of race track, extended track about 200 ft, Terry Cole went 3.90 at 190 this weekend there. Craig has worked hard to attract cars. I hope to see a big croud there.

For informational purposes only.
London is located in what is known as a moist county. It isn't dry, but it isn't wet either. Restaurants that can serve 100 or more people can serve alcohol to their customers for on site consumption. If you want to buy a six pack for carryout, the closest place to get one is just across the Kentucky/Tennessee state line. That's about 80 miles round trip. ....and the Budget Host Inn in downtown London has vibrating beds. The box on the night stand takes quarters, so if you are staying there and want to get all shook up, bring change! |
