Back in Louisiana
I guess I got to take the blame for Issac trailing us to Indy. Then we hit the remnents in west Alabama coming home and almost got thundered to death, only to have the damn thing trying to reform at the mouth of the Mississippi River as we speak. Natl Weather Service gives it a 20% chance, but it will push water again to the same areas that got it the first time even if it does not get circulation. Damage a little worse than we expected, some real serious water issues still exist around New Orleans. They got most of NO fixed, now the outlying areas are going under. Lots of tree damage, fence etc, lots of debris and looks like many trees lost most of their leaves. I guess the damn thing just blew for so many hours, they just stressed and lost them. We are heading back Friday AM. It was an exciting 2 weeks to say the least. More as we recover and take inventory.

Brought up the old JRT Dart several months back. Some pics there and a report it is somewhere in Kansas. I remember the car at local Arkansas tracks when, if I remember correctly, Gene Graham drove it. http://i50.photobucket.com/albums/f3...g?t=1230728498 |
