It was neat to see the tribute to Grumpy get some air time on the main show-as much as some people have bitched about the new cars, I've got to think that they are going to draw some interest to SS/STK from the casual fan. Of course the final in Stock at Charlotte proves there is still a look of muscle left in the the original breed!

connolly,s or should i say cag**** owned camaro leaves wheels up and the others seem to leave on all 4,s,is it the type of power plant ,any thoughts????

Just guessing I'd say its because of a 3 speed and looser converter instead of a Powerglide.

Who cares what gears, trans, or converter this car has, or what he leaves the line at! After looking at this car and seeing it go down the race track several times from all angles, this car is the baddest stocker out there! If I had one, I would be asking Victor questions. I would want mine set up exactly like it. Except the tires would be Mickey Thompson!

Trans, converter, but mainly I heard he ( victor ) had the motor before he had the car.
So I am sure he had lots of dyno time to get the tune up right before it went in.
It is wicked for sure.
