Curt Hieb, D/SA Firebird over Rod Negebauer, D/SA Duster, 10:77 to 10:83. Curt pocketed $2250 for the win and Rod $1000 for being runner up!

Rick Ryan, SS/NA Olds, low qualifier 1.07 under the index, 11.22 run. 30 car field.

1st round of qualifying, 1000' altimeter, and good traction! The track was quick! I believe the M/S record was set at 11.81.

Temps in the 70's Sunday with a 10-20 mph SE wind. The track should be quicker yet! Some of you can still make it for time trials in the morning. They start at 9 AM, eliminations at 12.

Alex, that Mustang is a sweet little ride! Congratulations to Don.

Several cars were in that -.90 under range. It was fun to watch the 4 speeds!

We FINALLY have had a good weather weekend for this race! It is going to be an interesting day at Oahe Speedway, with the weather forecast, I expect the cars to be quicker yet!

PS: At 6:50 AM, the altimeter at the track is reading a -222 feet! Richen 'em up!
