chevy 2 headers

does anybody make a 62-67 chevy 2 fenderwell header that fits around the shock tower and not up against the firewell.i bought this headers that supposely was custom made to fit but shock tower has to be the trimmed or knocked in and are up against the firewall. will this be a problem with heat if i get them to fit everywhere else? i had a set of hedmans 1 7/8 with a car i bought several years ago, they fit ok but somebody had already beat the crap out of the shock towers.

If you are talking racecar, we have fenderwell headers that do not require mods to the shock tower, but of course exit into the wheelwell. We run a pretty large front tire.(MT 28.5) Turning radius is not good, but it is a 66 Nova. Everything rubs anyway. I am sure there are plenty of options for race headers. We have a stock eliminator stickshift car. We had ours done by REF.
If you want under chassis headers, I would think you would be bbetter served bringing the car to the person building the headers.

I have some Hooker Super Comps that don't hit either the shock towers or the firewall.
