Wanted '60s era Mopar 383 intake
My buddy is restoring his late father's 1964 Chrysler 300 and wants to can the 2bbl. intake and carb. He doesn't want to go aftermarket, just an original style factory 4 bbl. setup to put on the 383 that came in the car, Any one have one they'd like to move?
He said he can't find one anywhere,, but he doesn't know about the classracer universe. I'm thinking somebody knows someone or somewhere with one,, let me know please. Thanks everyone,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,Danny Durham |

You have to become a member on moparts, not sure about the other. But try ads at these sites if you haven't heard about them yet:
www.moparts.com http://www.imperialclub.com/ Over the years, the short deck 383's had Carters as well as Holleys. Depends how period-correct he wants to be. Good luck! |

Danny, lots of them for sale all over he place...the average price is $75 bucks for each part...4-bbl intake and 4-bbl carb rebuildable core.

Re: Wanted '60s era Mopar 383 intake
The best working setup is #301 from 68/69 if # matching isn't a factor.
$50 for manifold and $50 for Carb. If you know anyone going to any of the Nat/Div races in Las Vegas or World Finals.... I would be happy to bring them to any of the races. They manifold would be expensive to ship! |
