With only one class race left to earn points. These are the current points leaders.

SS AUTO Rich South with 255 pts and the tie breaker 10 rounds of class won

SS STICK Gary Summers with 213 pts

STK AUTO Leonard Mattingly with 265 pts

STK STICK Charley Downing with 255 pts and the tie breaker of 9 rounds of class won

My compliments to the guys who are winning or who finally win. We tried both years, and it's a little harder than one might think. Needless to say, we didn't get there. Sorta like running 10.80 on a 10.70 dial. I'm not sure what the awards are, but I do know that Scooter Brothers from Comp has and is trying to make this thing a bigger deal each year.
Hopefully next year will be better. Maybe that 10.80 is not a good example, but you follow my meaning.

I was just observing the points, and I'm not sure about the Stock Automatic class. The only way to have 265 points is to win a race with over 17 or more in class. There has been no class that I don't know except Indy which does not count. Where am I going wrong?

If you go back to Jan 26 2012 on the NHRAracer.com site they made a post that all class races count for points this year.

Jeff, all class races counted this year including Indy. I ran class at Indy, Cols and Reading, they all counted ...

Click on the rules on the bottom of the points register on the Tech Section. 2012. Indy don't count. Says it 2 times (that's twice for the uninformed). Now where did I go wrong.
