Bowling Green combo.
 

The last combo of the year was a big success. 58 cars and a bunch of very fast stock and super stock cars. Air was good, 1.02 correction. Track was very good. We did have a strong headwind all day as much as 15 mph. I was 1.061 under and was number 7 qualifier. I saw a SS/HA car dialed 9.30 for the first round and saw the time slip on Facebook, 9.28 with a 1.17 60'. Nick Morris won and T.C. Morris won the points battle for the year. Thanks to Dallas and Clay Jones, owners of Beech Bend, for putting on these combo races.

A 9.28 in SS/HA is 1.32 under the index. That's good for a 5.25 % hit on the AHFS...if the car would pass teardown.

Wow, I just saw who it was and that SS/HA has passed several teardowns. Congrats on such a quick run.

We all had fun and it was fast! My "Generic" (Goodyear) tires worked to perfection. Track prep was good. If we would have had five more cars it would have been a seven round race. Number 1 qualifier was 1.42 under.

It's fun #1 can only run .75 to .80 under at points race like to see what he weights at the combo in ss/o

I have been very thankful for Beech Bend and their combo program as well. Dallas and Clay have gave us a first class facility to showcase at for several years now, and I hear more improvements are coming over the off season.

Maybe they will add some more two day races and possibly another $5K race

It,s always a first class racetrack , Dallas and Clay do a great job , I just wish we could get away to go to more of them ,,, Thats gonna change next year i hope , Glad you guys had a good turn out . How about Ohio Vally on saterday ,,, Results ??? Thanks

Does anyone have a qualifying sheet? Or know where to view it? It sounds like a great race.
