Bits & Pieces
8 Attachment(s)
Put together a '80 Aspen that I purchased from Paul Marcum last fall with parts left around the shop.Thought I'd share a few pictures with everyone.Took it to our local 1/8 mile track over the weekend and it ran best of 7.32. I won the dial in race and went 5 rounds before going -.010 red. (semi's)Car was really consistant, had a ball !!!

Re: Bits & Pieces
what class is it going to run?

Re: Bits & Pieces
Very clean looking car, don't see anything written on the windows...
so whats in it, 318-340-360 or sb race block. |
Re: Bits & Pieces
It'll probably end up as a Pure Stocker.Need to add mufflers and a couple other odds and ends, get the weight right, ect. Car is a 360 which should put it into D/PS.Roll bar needs to be added to run Stock.May do that at some point.

Re: Bits & Pieces
Car looks great!
11.49 (7.49)-quicker requires a roll bar in bracket racing. |
Re: Bits & Pieces
Michael,
Don't it say 11.49 (7.35)???? for the roll bar.I'm looking at a '09 Rulebook and thats what it says.Has it been changed? Jeff |
Re: Bits & Pieces
Maybe in NHRA... dunno, book's in the truck. IHRA's been 11.49/7.49 for many years. Car will 60' better with a bar in it anyway! ;-)
