Classifying SS/DA Camaro

I would like to check to see if my math is right in classifying my 1969 Camaro. I believe that the NHRA shipping weight is 3424. I am running a 427 with 077 aluminum cylinder heads. So if I take the shipping weight of 3424 and divide by the NHRA corrected horsepower of 451, the car is a natural D car with a 7.59 weight break. So would that make the minimum weight of 3553? Any insight would be greatly appreciated and thanks in advance.

Are you running a 427/425? If so, are those heads legal? I don't think they are legal for a 427/425.

I think the only legal aluminum head for the 427/425 is the 401 head.

The 077 heads are legal on a 427/430 ZL-1, the factor for that in Super Stock is 476.

Yes, the 427/425 is a natural SS/D or SS/DA car. For a 7.5 class, the car has to weigh 3553 w/driver, that is correct.

But the 427/430 is a natural SS/C or SS/CA car, at 7.0, for a total, w/driver, of 3502.
