still can't figure out how moving that show to a colder climate in the middle of december was a good idea.

More racer central location? Kind of like the distance to a nationals if there were only ONE.

I've been working at every PRI since it started (now retired) and the attendance of the show at the Indy location was way more than in Florida. Alot more folks drove in to Indy, even with the poor weather conditions.

vegas isn't very central either, but it works for SEMA. vegas is a destination. Indy is a destination 2 weeks a year (US NATIONALS/INDY 500). Orlando has attractions, things to do. People can take their families and let them go to Disney/beach, etc. while us gearheads are at PRI. Stuff like that increases attendance, having to deal with snow and freezing temps will not. I understand the centrally located part, but i think they will lose overall

#1 reason I'm glad it's coming back to Indy is that its less then an hour away from my house and 30 minutes away from the shop.

I have no urge to sight-see the town when I'm going to an auto event. I'm there for one thing and one thing only. Family doesn't like to go anywhere without me so they wouldn't be Sight-seeing either.

I look at it like this, there is still a show! At least it's not been canceled altogether so I'm OK with it. It's just about the same flight time for me and my buddies. Don't like the cold weather, but deal with it. Florida is so nice this time of year. We usually go somewhere on Wed when we arrive in town like: Museum of drag racing, Kenedy Space Center, or Daytona for the day, and that is alot of fun as well.
I am just happy that another part of my world (the car culture) and specifically racing is trying to hang on with a terminal condition.
See you on Thursday morning at breakfast with Mr. Force. That should be a good time!
