New Rules New Records!

You fast people can now set records @ -1.20 plus at National Opens without fear of H.P.

This will be fun to watch.

"This is done to better react to any out-of-line indexes or under-horsepowered combinations."

What???

Not counting the -1.20 or better under runs at a national open gives free reign to the new cars to wreak havoc on anyone in their class and put records out of reach for two years. So much for the AHFS bringing bogus horsepowers into line quickly.

You mean you can actually keep your foot to the floor during a drag RACE and not get penalized.

Pretty cool. :D

It's a start for those folks looking for help in that matter. It don't affect you unless you do it. If you don't do it, or can't do it, then it has no effect on nothing. The Chuck Rayburn rule is in effect for this thread; If you haven't raced in 2 years or more you got no vote. Don't look a gift horse in the mouth. Now all you naysayers that this have absolutely no interest in this matter can have the forum. For this forum, you must have a white sheet on, and a red cloth draped over your arm, and sandals like the Romans. I bet you folks didn't know that Peter Biondo's great X 25 Grandfather Flavio Biondo was a philospher who often spoke at a forum at the first fork in the Apian Way (first road) in the 1400's just outside Rome. Just a little footnote to history.

It sounds like I should have paid more attention in history!

I bet Flavio had good reaction times!

Personally I think you guys should have the same rules at National Opens that those of us in comp have-go as fast as you want with no penalties at all!
