'69/'70 Mustang hood scoop characteristics

Any of you Stock/Super Stock guys running a '69/'70 Mustang done any testing on the factory style scoops? Does the position of the scoop in relation to the hood and the scoop's low profile keep it from having any ram effect at all or possibly even create low pressure or turbulence above the carb?
