Super Stock style Backhalfing my 70 GTX

Just in the process of getting my 1970 Plymouth GTX redone and would like it to fit in a class like super stock. I have a few questions on the, tire size and 4 link suspension. First question is what is the largest tire allowed in S/S i see most cars running 32-14/15 slicks and second question is when doing the backhalf i've seen people run the 4 link bars in the wheel tub area and I've seen them inboard is there a difference of performance or is it personal preferance.
Thanks for any and all info
Kevin
Oh ya some pictures of round tube backhalf on late 60's early 70's mopar would be great!!

I think the first question to be answered is what engine and trans are you going to run? Before you spend money to modify the the car you need to make sure you have a competitive combination otherwise your just building a bracket/prostreet car.

Hi Kevin , Just a question. Is the car a original GTX and have figured out a budget on the car. As you know Hemis are not cheap and SS hemis are expensive. If you are not hell bent on running SS and would consider running a stocker, there is a fine example of what you might be looking for on Racing Junk as we speak and it is turnkey. That car could be had at the price of a turnkey SS hemi engine. Might be worth a peak ! John

It's been a racecar since the 70s and the quality of work is far from nice, so i figured I would give the car a new lease on life and build a show quality racecar. It might not be a contender but I'll enjoy it just as much and yes it's a original GTX. I just can't see the car sit and no progress done to it, so it's time to get it done! The budget part is not a issue but I will take a look on RJ.
Thanks
Kevin

The reason the 4 link bars are in the wheel wells in a super stocker is the floor has to be stock between the frame rails

NHRA told me 4-link bars inside of the wheel tubs was not allowed.

Then there are hundreds of illegal SS cars .
This is the best way to build a SS car and meet the stock floor requirement.
B body cars have a very low floor where the four link bars need to be.
