Whiff of a story
 

I heard last night that a major player from the DC area has a contract on a large tract of land near Fredericksburg, VA. Just off of I-95. He plans to build a major Motorplex for four different types of auto racing. A 1/4 mile track is planned. Fredericksburg is about 50 miles south of DC.

Although I dont know for sure, the word is that the owners of Old Dominion Speedway, which is now closed have made plans like you mention. I am sure it is the same story.

Old Dominion was sold to a developer and the former owners are supposedly involved in this deal.

Hey that's great to here. Now our friends in DC can race cars and shoot skeet.

I think that was a reference to the Obama picture of him supposedly shooting skeet.

anyway, more tracks is always good news. Big population in a close proximity to Fredericksburg.

We can't support the tracks we have in our area now.
