National Speedway / Long Island Reunion
 

Update 02/12/13:
The Reunion will take place on Saturday evening, July 27 and Sunday, July 28 at Old Bridge Twp. Raceway Park. The event will feature a display of cars that raced at the Long Island drag strips, an awards presentation honoring Long Islands speed industry legends and prominent drag racers and teams. Originally scheduled for the 1/8th mile strip, early feed back indicates the need for more space so we will be using and will be racing on the 1/4 mile track!
We are currently looking for display cars that have raced at any one of the fabled Long Island tracks. Period correct street cars and hot rods may also be accepted. Display car owners will get free two day admission for two. Vendors are also sought for this two day event.

Sounds like a great time. First time I ever experienced 4 wide racing. Lots of great old cars and racing at National. Good luck with the event Walter.
