Headsup113,

Somewhere between 18-25 lbs, depends on the track, weight of the car, size of motor , what kind of traction setup, width of rim , etc... A good place to start is 21-22 cold, ( grows 1-2 lbs when Hot ) and keep testing to see what works best ? There are lots of factors that effect the launch also ??? Good Luck ...

I run about 22-23 cold. My car seems to like it.

I have a 3,540+ lb Stocker footbraking and running low 11's with 21 lbs cold in my Hoosier lightweights on 10" rims. But regardless of what you have, if it will fit, going to a wider rim should help maintain a flatter footprint and allow more air pressure with reduced wrinkle (longer sidewall life). Only downside to radials is that they are more sensitive to track conditions than bias ply slicks.
