mallory 685 to activate shift light
 

i want to add a shift light to my 428 cj mustang. is anyone using there mallory 685 box to activate there shift light? thanks ron b

I did at one time. Worked fine. I used the "rpm switch output". Light would come on, I would shift, then rpm's dropped below the shift point. Light just stayed on at finish line.
Changed to a tach with multiple shift points.
