Looking for a 5.13 gear.
 

I was gonna try to order a new ring & pinion from Jeg's for a Mopar 8 3/4 rear axle with a 742 carrier in a 5.13 ratio but no can do. Tried the usual others ,Summit, Mancini Racing,Moser ,ect. and none are available.I guess Motive bought out Richmond and are undergoing that deal and it may be a month or so before there is availability.
Mine is not broken but i usually change them every couple of years so as not to take out the transmission when they break (904 TF).
Anyone got a new one that they want to part with or know where i can buy a new one?

I had to go direct to Strange Engineering to get my 8-3/4 742 housing ring and pinion, they had it in stock when no one else in the country did, the price was right and delivered quickly.

I ran into the same problem trying to get a 5.57 for my Moser 60. Ordered first week of Feb., "backordered a couple weeks" then a couple more weeks, then a couple more, then finally listed as "Expected arrival Feb 2014." :eek:

Got a used gear for $100. Looks like its in good shape. Our install doesn't precisely match the original pattern, so it ain't exactly quiet, but she goes down the race track. :p

Thanks guys! I've found a gear at Randy's Ring & Pinion in Washington state. They sell Yukon brand,should be OK.
