Shouldn't be a problem just bring it in as a race car not being driven on the street
Otherwise as a streetcar it needs a title on the Canadian side
I have brought a few race cars into Canada
Make sure you have your paperwork in order and give the crossing 72 hours notice before it comes through

If this is your first time importing a vehicle into Canada Call or go in person to a customs office near you first and ask all of your questions CLEARLY and understand CLEARLY all of their responses. Make notes of the agent you spoke with and the day date and time. Then contact the RIV, registrar of imported vehicles for Canada. They have a list and criteria of vehicles that are and are not importable to Canada. As mentioned you must forward 72 hrs in advance all the paperwork they deem necessary. Fax it to the border crossing you intend to cross at AND phone them immediately after it has been sent to see that they have received it and is LIGIBLE also note whom you spoke to. I've imported many vehicles including race cars although they all had titles with little problems for the most part and some of the things I've identified here have been issues on occasion for other people. It also depends on if its your turn or not for them to try and run you through the hoops but most often if you've done your due diligence it will go remarkably smooth. The US Customs has always needed to check on the vehicle to see if it has been involved in a crime or such. At least that's the story they gave me. Don't assume anything. Be aware of the requirements of both borders. Never rely on heresay always find out for yourself from the agencies invloved. Happy trails

I agree with the two posters above...make sure your paperwork is in order. I just imported a racecar (with title) from the US. I thought I had done everything properly but they gave me grief on the US side for not having proof of payment. Forgot that piece of evidence at home! They finally let me through justifying a notarized bill of sale and having the title transferred in my name would be sufficient proof of payment. As Doug says maybe it was my turn to have to "run through the hoops". Canadian clearing was a breeze, particularly since the car is over 15 years old and doesn't have to go through the RIV process. The Olds would fit in this category.
