Piedmont Dragway
 
I was looking at youtube.com and saw that Piedmont Dragway had several videos posted.

Couple of the Videos there was a white B/PS 1969 Impala.
One video was a S/SS meet.

Does anyone know the driver and owner?

Whoever the announcer was, he was exciting to listen to.

Buddy Ingold. Tough ol' guy!

Announcers were Rico 'Xtreme' Garner and Herb McCandless Jr. Mike Candless was behind the camera. When the McCandless Bros. were running Piedmont, they did a lot for the S/SS crowd, put on good shows with a good crowd, and gave us some great 'ink' like these videos.

Cool car! Nice to see another B/PS out there and it runs good! Ours should be back together next week with a new cam, springs, headers, and wheels and tires. Hopefully we'll be solidly in the mid-11 range. Having to take out the steering rack on a C5 to change cams has been FUN. :D

Piedmont is awesome, Rico is a great announcer. Gilmer Hinshaw and his crew are top notch. Kevin Shipman and the guys provide a great track. The Big Dog races draw tons of people. We know the traction will be there when we leave the house.
