BBM/Hemi stocker oil pan
I would like to know if I should order the BBM/Hemi oil pan from Moroso PT# 19760 or Milodon PT# 19760? What is everyone using? Pro's? Con's?

Phil,
I posted the info to help someone that might read the thread, and also experience from using the E-body pan. The Moroso pan fits allcars without notching the K-member. |
Re: BBM/Hemi stocker oil pan
Chris,
It's a real pain in the ***** to check bearings unless you notch the K member and the bearings need to be checked quite often. I guess if you don't have one of these cars you probably are not aware of that though. The pan you are recommending is listed as a 4 quart capacity. Do you think that is wise considering the RPM Tom is going to be turning? This is not a warmed over 440 in a street driven Dart. Tom, If you use one of those pans you are asking for trouble. Take a look at the factory Nascar pans, They are available on ebay once in awhile. You are going to want to notch the K member for clearance no matter which pan you end up buying. Do not buy one from my buddy in Waldo Florida, He will sell you the ebay one I listed and charge you $300.00 for it. Been there done that. Good luck on your project. |

Yep,I have a B-body car and a a-body with 440's.I can pull both pans by dropping the idler arm. Moroso has a 5 qt Hemi pan as does Milodon.
