Missing the tree
 

Sometimes miss the tree with a slightly slower dialed car. Does anyone block the opponents side of the tree when the lights come down close? Either; using a helmet blinder, something hanging in the car, tape on the helmet visor, etc? Thinking this I may do this, would love to hear what some do/see some pics.

some of the best in the business block their opponents side of the tree usually with something hanging from the rollbar or rear view mirror. Cardboard and a binder clip or clothes line clip works. Others have fabricated a flip down "visor"

if you have a full cage a piece of sheet metal cut to your taste and double sided velcrow works perefect

check the rulebook first. You can't modify your helmet except for a strip across the top and any visor-type blinder must be firmly attached.
