Have had a small TCI starter on my 350" SS car for about five years. Has been great.

I have a Powermaster that has worked great for 15 years. I just had it refreshed for $60. The other suggestions are good stuff just don't buy any junk. Quality in/ quality out. You should expect to pay $150 plus for a quality starter.

IMO the best is a Tilton, They last forever. Mine is 23years old. The're also one of the most expensive.

Sometimes you get what you pay for.

I used MSD starter #5095. It has 3 positions so it can be rotated a bit. Helped me get some clearance between the starter and the headers. The old starter touched and needed a little grinding for a bit of clearance. the MSC also has spacers included so if needed, it can be moved away from the flywheel . The gear comes out a long way so it still has full gear engagement. It appears to be a real quality piece and works well.
